Terms of Service

1. The Service

BugLenz records what happens in your browser while you test a web application (failed network requests, console and runtime errors, and the user actions around them) so you can find the cause of a bug, reproduce it, verify a fix and share the evidence.

The Free plan works in your browser without an account. Signing in lets you share a bug as a read-only link. BugLenz Pro adds BugLenz Cloud (sync, history and storage), more and longer share links, and the AI and MCP tools.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google or with a link sent to your e-mail address. Keep access to that account secure. Your plan belongs to the account you signed in with: use the same account in the extension and on the website.

3. BugLenz Pro and payment

BugLenz Pro is a monthly subscription at the price shown on www.buglenz.com when you subscribe (currently ₹699 per month). Payments are processed by Razorpay. The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it.

You can cancel at any time on your account page (www.buglenz.com/account). Pro then continues until the end of the billing period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. Pausing AutoPay in your UPI app has the same effect. Your account page shows the exact date and time your paid period ends (Razorpay ends monthly periods at midnight, Indian time). Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use BugLenz to record applications or data you are not authorised to test, to break the law, to attack or overload our servers, or to share recordings that contain other people's personal data without a lawful reason. You are responsible for what you capture and share.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to what you capture. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the Service to you, for example to sync it to BugLenz Cloud or to show a share link you created.

6. AI and third-party services

If you use the AI tools, your own API key and the content you choose to send go directly from your browser to the provider you picked (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google); their terms apply to that request. Issue trackers you connect (Jira, GitHub, Linear) are called from your browser with your own token, under their terms.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it is uninterrupted or free of errors. The Free features that run in your browser keep working without our servers.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Ending

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (in the extension: Cloud → Account → Delete account). We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The new version is posted here with a new date; Pro subscribers are told by e-mail about important changes before they apply.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at Thane have jurisdiction.
